7 Years of BTS with ARMY: One In An ARMY’s Anniversary Celebration for BTS FESTA
It all started in 2013. Seven boys showcased their talent for the first time to the public. Only a few paid attention to them. Then slowly, an army of fans followed their lead. Seven years after, they are now the biggest boy band in the world and everyone knows their name. The number seven had a deep meaning for BTS, and that is what made 2020 special. It was their 7th anniversary.
Kim Namjoon once said in a speech that “this was only possible because of the little things we share together, the BTS and ARMY power” and the ARMY couldn’t agree more. The relationship that BTS and ARMY share is one of a kind. The seven individuals inspired their fans through their music and philanthropic efforts, while ARMY never stops showering BTS with love that also inspired them to love themselves. BTS and ARMY even coined another term for I love you, “I purple you,” coined by Kim Taehyung because “purple is the last color of the rainbow, so it means I will trust and love you for a long time.” That in itself shows how deep the BTS-ARMY relationship goes.
#7WithARMY: A Charity Project Organized by OIAA and Other BTS Fanbases Worldwide
To celebrate the seven years that BTS and ARMY shared, One In An ARMY has teamed up with BTS fanbases from different parts of the globe for a project called 7 With ARMY. 7 With ARMY features seven different charity and goodwill campaigns that ARMY from around the world can participate in. OIAA partnered with almost a hundred BTS fanbases to create, plan, and execute the seven different categories for all ARMY. With the nature of OIAA as a fan organization that promotes micro-donations and small acts of kindness, the seven categories for 7 With ARMY also has that recurring theme. Through this project, we aim to make the 7th year of BTS remarkable and impactful not only for ARMY but for other people as well.

Category 1: BTS Anniversary Fundraiser
Fundraising with The Global FoodBanking Network
The donations that will be given to The Global FoodBanking Network will be used for supporting foodbanks to more than 40 countries affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Category 2: AnpanVan’s Freerice Journey
Playing Freerice with BTS ARMY
This activity follows a storyline wherein AnpanVan is on his journey across the universe to deliver food and goods to those who are in need.
Category 3: Find Me Challenge
Searching through Ecoasia & Tab or Search for a Cause
Every weekend until BTS’ 7th anniversary, there will be fun scavenger and quiz challenges that ARMY can participate in using Ecoasia & Tab or Search for a Cause, search engines which donates to charity.
Category 4: Learn ___ With ARMY
Teaching and learning with ARMY
For part 4, we are creating a playlist on YouTube for ARMY to volunteer to teach skills and give tips on various topics online such as dance, workout routines, cooking, and crafts.
Category 5: AnpanARMY Drive
Donating parts of ourselves just like Anpanman
The types of donations for this part are blood, hair, and voice. This is done in collaboration with local fanbases, wherein we have compiled guides on how to donate for this category in different countries around the world.
Category 6: Give A Little Love Drive
Giving love through the distance
The category encourages ARMY to donate needed goods and supplies during this challenging time by ordering goods online and having them delivered to orphanages, senior centers, and other facilities.
Category 7: Letters With Luv
Sending your love through letters
ARMY can bring a bit of joy and share the love during the COVID-19 pandemic in the form of letters. We have compiled a list of organizations that collect and distribute letters to the elderly, orphans, COVID-19 patients, hospitalized children, and many more.
7 With ARMY isn’t like any project we have planned; OIAA’s Festa campaign is massive — with lots of activities and partner ARMY fanbases. Together with the ARMY fanbases, we planned out every detail to ensure that this project will sail smoothly. But, it still shares the same goal with our previous campaigns: to spread genuine kindness and compassion to those who are in need while having fun as well.
We were only seven, but we have you all now
7 With ARMY may just be starting, but we’re sure that this will turn out to be a successful campaign because of ARMY’s driven heart to create social change, which BTS has inspire us to do every single day through their advocacies. BTS will always have ARMY by their side, creating a better world to live in. We wanted to thank ARMY in advance, for creating a big difference with One In An ARMY.
